Hello World

My name's Chris Brown. (No not the guy who beats women and has bad tattoos). I'm the other guy singin’ and tellin’ stories with my old six string and harmonica…and the day is finally here: my new record “Anchor” is ready for your ears! I’m really proud of this record and can’t wait for you to hear it and am inviting you to be a part of it's release with this campaign. This record is really special to me as it tells the story of where I grew up, the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met and where I’ve come back to: Asbury Park, where I’ve found my anchor. I was lucky enough to record with Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls, at their rehearsal space, Little Eden, in my hometown. Having been a fan since I was a little skate rat teenager this was an awesome experience and Pete really helped me capture the folk/punk/pub rock sound I was striving for with these songs. I can’t do this without you so I hope you’ll take a chance to support my campaign…and every little bit helps!
