Jonathan Andrew is a songwriter and acoustic performer based in Red Bank, New Jersey. Jonathan is a veteran of late 90's Jersey-based trio The Angry Monsters, with Chris Pierson (Velour 44) and Jason Kundrath (Hero Pattern), and several collaborative projects with noted NJ songsmith Mike Ferraro, including Ciampi and, currently, Mike Ferraro and the Young Republicans. As a member of NJ-based quartet Souls' Release from 2004 to 2006, Jonathan appeared on two self-released CDs, including the 2005 Asbury Music Award nominated "Through The Feeling," and performed throughout the NY-NJ-PA rock axis as well as on stages from Boston to Louisville to Washington, DC to Chicago. Jonathan has been composing songs since 1997, and began public airing of this material via solo performances in late 2003. Since his departure from Souls' Release in the summer of 2006, Jonathan has focused on this self-penned material with a newfound vigor, resulting in a series of well-received performances and a wealth of new compositions. Jonathan will release "Arrivals & Departures," his debut EP, this summer.
